I had a rather unusual journey into law, but one which helped to mould the specialist legal areas I advise on today. I started my working life training to become an Accountant, before opening a financial services company in structured lending solutions.
I have however, always had a passion for the law and so I went back to university in 2004, obtaining my LLB (Hons) Law Degree in 2009.

Making provision for you to choose someone to manage your finances and/or property should you become incapable of doing so yourself on your behalf
LASTING POWER (HEALTH AND WELFARE) ("LIVING WILLS")
Making specific arrangements for specified loved ones make health and welfare decisions on your behalf should you become incapable of doing so yourself.
Applying for probate, calling in all the assets, paying all the liabilities (including any Inheritance or other tax) and then distributing the remainder to those entitled.
INHERITANCE TAX AND ESTATE PLANNING
As far as is legally and sensibly possible, mitigating the incidence of lifetime and on death taxes before death and in the distribution of an estate post death where ever possible.
Assisting you to apply to become a Deputy when a loved one has lost mental capacity but did not make a Lasting Power before losing that capacity.
